Phil Jones
Owner and Operator
I graduated from Hall High School in Little Rock, Ar. In 1964. I still had some growing up to do so I enlisted in the USAF and became an air police k-9 handler. I served four years (including a year in Vietnam) and was discharged in 1968. Returning to Little Rock I attended the University of Arkansas and graduated in three years with a double major in Marketing and Advertising. I spent the next twenty-five years in the insurance business. Insurance was very good to me, but in 2005 I found myself wanting to do something else. I looked at quite a few opportunities and then I found Chem-Dry. A friend of mine owned my franchise and several other businesses. He knew he wasn't spending the time with Chem-Dry that he should and began looking to sell. I started looking for a reason NOT to buy it, but I couldn't find one. I purchased the franchise in September of 2005, and left the insurance business. It seems like that was yesterday. It has been a great 13 years, and I wouldn't take anything for the experience. I took my business ethic from my grandfather who operated Phillip's Hardware Store for some 50 years. I spent a lot of summers working in that store and he taught me that "Business goes where it's wanted, and stay's where it's appreciated." I try to operate by that code and try very hard to earn your repeat business. I am married to my best friend Lynn, have a son Russ, in Atlanta, and two step daughters Autumn and Natalie, in Las Vegas.
